The House

Belford House has three attractive sitting rooms and a large communal dining room. There is also a communal patio area where residents are able to maintain the raised flower bed. The grounds are well maintained by Gill and Mike Curtis (not forgetting George who mows the lawn weekly during the summer months!) The residents are more than welcome to provide advice and even help when it’s warm enough!

There are bedrooms on both the ground and first floors serviced by a lift. Most of the rooms are single with en-suite facilities although there are a few double rooms for couples or as a large single room. Residents are encouraged to bring as many of their personal effects and furniture as they wish ensuring that their room is comfortable and just like home. Rooms have a pleasant view over the grounds.

Each room is linked into the call bell system meaning that the residents are never far from help. We also like each resident to have a pendant style call bell which they can carry around with them to ensure that they can call for help wherever they are.

Each room has a TV aerial socket and there is also the facility to have a private telephone. If this isn’t required, there are portable telephones available to all residents.
