Staff

Staff at Belford House are trained in all aspects of care including looking after those with short term memory loss. All staff undertake many different types of training from external qualified trainers coming to talk about first aid, moving and handing, health and safety and fire awareness to the local district nurses coming to talk to us about infection control. Many of the staff have already or are currently undertaking their NVQ levels 2 and 3.

There are plenty of staff around at all times including waking staff through the night ready to assist you in anyway, even if it’s making tea and having a chat! From the senior members of staff to the junior assistants, the kitchen manager and the house keepers, Belford House is a well run, happy home and our friendly and understanding staff are always available to help whilst ensuring that dignity, privacy and independence are upheld at all times.
